The Winery East apartment provided an excessive living area 200m in size. To ensure that the space was practical and usable, it was necessary to divide the area into a number of habitable zones - offices, cinemas, kitchen, pantry, storage, etc. The large living area faces onto a swimming pool, lines with the original stone pillars that flanked the grape weighing area of the winery. The upper floor was divided up into five bathrooms, accessed via a central hall (lit from above). The design was modified to incorporate the doors and radiators that had been reclaimed from local demolition projects.
